Siloah, St. Elizabeth
The Footprints of Hope Evangelistic Series, held under a tent in the Windsor Community, Siloah, St. Elizabeth, brought a period of spiritual renewal to the surrounding communities and resulted in more than 200 baptisms. The series was led by Pastor Glen O. Samuels, President of the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and former President of the West Jamaica Conference. His presentations focused on prophetic themes, the hope of the second coming of Jesus, the power of prayer, and deliverance.
This evangelistic effort was a united initiative involving the Seventh-day Adventist District of Churches in Siloah, Thornton, Maggoty, and Jointwood. Pastors, Bible workers, and members worked together to share the message of hope and salvation throughout the communities.

One major highlight of the evangelistic series was the powerful role of media in spreading the gospel. The messages were shared through online platforms, extending the reach beyond the immediate community. In one notable instance, a medical doctor from Clarendon heard the messages online and was moved to respond. She later travelled to St. Elizabeth and was baptized after locating the venue, despite initially losing her way while traveling to the site.

The success of the series was even more remarkable considering the challenges the parish faced following Hurricane Melissa, which caused extensive damage across sections of St. Elizabeth. Many residents were left without shelter, clothing, and other necessities. Despite these hardships, members and visitors continued to attend the nightly meetings. The series concluded successfully, reaffirming that mission remains a central priority of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
