What is Opeartion Family First - September to Remember?
Operation Family First – September to Remember 2026 is a conference-wide evangelistic initiative designed to mobilize every member in intentional, relational soul-winning. Through prayer, Bible study, community engagement, health ministry, literature evangelism, technology, and public proclamation, members will work together to lead individuals and families into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Objectives
Operation Family First – September to Remember seeks to:
- Increase the involvement of every church member in fulfilling Christ's Great Commission.
- Foster a renewed passion for evangelism and disciple-making throughout the Conference.
- Experience both spiritual renewal among members and numerical growth in every congregation.
- Engage at least 100 members in every pastoral district, with each member intentionally ministering to seven (7) non-Adventist family or community members.
- Encourage those being worked with to participate in the online Bible Study Series beginning August 24, 2026, and continuing throughout September.
- Have every congregation conduct a simultaneous weekend evangelistic series during the month of September.
- Add at least two (2) new baptized members to every congregation during the month of September.
Strategic Focus
As we prepare for Operation Family First – September to Remember 2026, Please take note of the following:
- Total Member Involvement
Every church member is encouraged to participate by utilizing his or her: Spiritual gifts, Professional and vocational skills, Talents, Interest, Personal influence, Available resources. Every member is a missionary.
- Relational Evangelism
Each pastoral district should engage at least 100 members, with each member intentionally ministering to seven (7) non-Adventist family or community members. Groundwork may include: Earnest prayer, Bible studies, Acts of kindness and social intervention, Health education, Literature distribution, Digital evangelism and technology, Friendship evangelism.
- Weekend Evangelistic Series
Every congregation should conduct a simultaneous evangelistic series during each weekend of September. Services should be held on: Friday evenings, Sabbaths, Sundays. Where practical, Sunday meetings should be conducted within the community to maximize outreach.
- Local Evangelistic Speakers
Each congregation should identify and confirm an evangelistic speaker by August 15, 2026.
- Online Bible Study Series
Members should invite every Bible interest to participate in the Conference Online Bible Study Series. Schedule: Begins: Monday, August 24, 2026 Every Monday and Wednesday evening Concludes: Wednesday, September 23, 2026
- Baptismal Goal
Every congregation is encouraged to baptize at least two (2) individuals during September 2026.
- Sabbath School Evangelism
Every Sabbath School Unit should: Minister intentionally to non-Adventist members within the unit. Prepare unbaptized members for baptism. Maintain a master list of: Unbaptized members, Non-attendees, Bible interests being nurtured by unit members
- Congregational Master List
Every congregation should maintain an up-to-date master list of all non-Adventist family and community members being nurtured. The list should include: Name, Telephone number, Address (where available), Member assigned to the interest, Progress toward baptism.
- District Master List
Each pastor should maintain a district-wide master list identifying: Members actively involved in the initiative, Bible interests being nurtured, and Progress reports from each congregation
- Bible Study Materials
Witnessing teams are encouraged to utilize: Seven Steps or God's Answer for Today's

Operation Family First – September To Remember Is For The Entire Church.
Participants Include: Conference Administrators, Departmental Directors, Pastors, Conference Workers, Elders, Church Leaders, Departmental Leaders, Lay Preachers, Bible Instructors, Colporteurs, Every Church Member.
Timeline
- Commencement: Monday, August 24, 2026- Launch of the Online Bible Study Series
- Conclusion: Sabbath, September 26, 2026 - Grand Baptism and Celebration
Grand Baptism and Celebration
Date: Sabbath, September 26, 2026 The primary baptismal and celebration venue will be the Seventh-day Adventist Conference Centre, Mount Salem. All baptisms should be reported promptly to the Conference Secretariat.
