The Community Services and Women’s Ministries Director of the West Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists led out in feeding over 1000 persons during their monthly Street Feeding Programme on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the Open Heart Charitable Mission, on Orange Street, Montego Bay and at the Cornwall Regional Hospital out-patient Clinic located on the West Jamaica Conference Grounds.

Women’s Ministries Director, Mrs. Carol Smythe-James expressed her delight to continue to impact lives through the feeding programme.

“It is with joy to give back to our community in whatever ways possible. I am elated to show some love by serving hot meals to our doctors, nurses and staff and Out-Patients at the Cornwall Regional Hospital, and the persons who come to the Open-Heart Charitable Mission,” she said.

The Director also thanked all those who contributed to the programme's success.
“Let me say thank you to our President, Pastor Glen Samuels, Community Services Director, for making this possible, and for the partnership over the years. Special thanks to the women from the St. James Community Services Federation who played an instrumental role every month to make this a reality. Let us by the grace of God continue to serve and do what we can to make someone happier,” James ended.
