At approximately 9:00pm, on July 25, 2010,
Pastor Astor D. Bowers was voted the New President, of the West Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventist, at their third quadrennial session.
Delegates at the session overwhelmingly applauded the announcement of Pastor Bower’s appointment, and followed up with an equally overwhelming vote. Pastor Bowers came into the session as Ministerial and Health Ministries Director.
The session continues and is scheduled to conclude tomorrow July 26.
